The Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion - Visual Impairment is a comprehensive Programme designed to equip aspiring educators and professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to support early childhood special education, focusing specifically on visual impairment. It will enable the learners to promote the all round development of children with visual impairment in Early Childhood Centres, Pre-schools and Pre-primary sections and support their inclusion in educational settings. This programme aligns with the vision of NEP (2020) to transform the educational landscape in India, ensuring that no child is left behind, regardless of their abilities. The programme is approved by The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) which ensures that the programme adheres to the highest standards of quality and professionalism. The successful candidates will be able to register with Rehabilitation Council of India under Category B.
Programme Objectives
Important Information regarding Counseling and Project Work The below listed RCI recognized training institutions have been identified as Work Centres that will provide offline/online counseling session for all three Theory Courses of the programme. Both the Project Work, each spanning over a period of 3 months will need to be conducted under the guidance of the faculty at these Work Centres. The learners have to be in regular physical contact with these RCI recognized training institutions to complete Project Work under the supervision of faculty assigned to them by the respective Work Centre.
